To quote myself, "I have a date to the Spring Formal that's this Friday. ^^" So I guess I should spill the beans. I went to the Red Carnival, Spring Formal with Rylie. I went full out with a tux shirt, bow-tie, and vest. Hence the post title. We went bomling, and she won. I type "bomling" because the "w" on the sign looks like an upside-down "m". Hence the "typo." After two games of bomling, and not doing well on both of our parts, we had dinner at Winger's. A nice place to eat. Rylie choose the Sticky Fingers and I the crispy, chicken sandwich. And afterwards was the dance. Not a lot of people went, seeing as it was a holiday weekend. Oh well, more dance floor for us.
In Typography class, we are designing playing cards. I had 3 ideas, but as we were critiquing, I came up with a better idea. We had photographed the ABCs earlier on in the semester, and now we're using the letters in our card set. (See example below.) I choose to use the suit symbols and cycle through them every 4 cards. Other than what I already typed above, I don't have too much to type about. Just one more thing, if you look closely to Rylie's wrist, you'll see the rose that I made for her. That's the benefit for going on a date with an art major, he's creative. ;) (-wink-)
