What shall we do, that this cloud of darkness may be removed from overshadowing us?

(Helaman 5:40)
School has been going well. Sometimes my art history teacher'll let us out early. We're ahead of schedule and he doesn't like to hear himself talk for too long. He's the only art history teacher, so he talks a lot.

As for drawing, we're doing perspective pieces and we're drawing the hallway. Very meticulous. Although, my first drawing turned out better than my second. On the first one, I would confuse myself because some of the vertical lines were really close and I couldn't figure out which line I was looking at on the wall and then transfer it to paper. I figured it out later on.

As I have said before, I prepared a Brazilian lunch for my friends on Saturday, the 28. Friday afternoon, we went to Walmart and bought the food and I prepared the meat. We then watched Juno. It's a rather interesting movie. If you've seen Scott Pilgrim vs. the world, then you'll like Juno. I also rushed home to have dinner because I thought that the dinning hall would close at 6:30, but it closes at 7. So, I had plenty of time to eat.

As for the lunch itself, Jessica, and her roommate showed up and ate with Makenzie and I. Just us four, but they enjoyed the meal. Sadly, I didn't as much...I didn't prepare the food properly...oh well. Everyone else enjoyed it, so that's all that matters.

In 3d, we have to make a geometric bug. My first idea was to make a dung beetle, but as time went by, I couldn't figure out how to make it. I fried my brain one night trying to do it. Then I had to work. >< Trying being creative with a fried brain. It doesn't work out too well. Anyway, I finally finished the bug and I'll include the video. Let me see if you can figure out what it is. It's not a dung beetle because I changed ideas. I also played Balderdash for the first time Saturday. Our group came up with some crazy ideas.

Invitation Sunday was great. We had great sacrament talks, my lesson on the Atonement seemed to go well. I had technical difficulties at first, but I was able to figure it out with some help. The Atonement is a little hard to teach, but I managed to teach something. Or perhaps the Spirit taught...

I also got conference tickets for the Saturday afternoon session. Annalise and I went up. She was nice enough to drive up to Manti. We stayed at Annalee's house (she's from my mission.) We stayed the night there and then Annalee drove us and her friend Chris to conference on Saturday, as well as back to her house. It was nice to get to know the both of them on this trip. They're both really nice, and we all enjoyed our time. I enjoyed Saturday's breakfast. Annalee's aunt and uncle came over and her aunt's a hoot. She reminds me of Aunt Sherrie. They both joke a lot.

After 7 weeks, I finally got my haircut. Those who have said anything, have liked it. Although, the cashier gave me too much change and I still need to go back and get the right change. They're not open until Tuesday, so I'll have to go then. Jessica and I also had a Japanese lunch after Institute. It was good food and good conversation.

I also went to the design night. I redid my Apple Blasts cereal box logo. There it is. I liked how it turned out.

I also turned in my photos on Thursday. I liked how some of them turned out. I'll be posting them to Facebook tomorrow or later in the week. As well as for the conference trip pictures.

I'm happy that I'm working more this week than last week. ^^ Although, I was a little stressed during the week. I was worried about getting everything done before I went to conference. Luckily I got things done and the trip was a blast.

Pretty epic that President Monson announced that young men can now serve missions at 18 ans the young women at 19. I hope to see SUU empty next semester because of this announcement.

On our way back, I drove Annalise's Lincoln. It handles nicely and it's a smooth drive.

Well, that's about it for about 10 days without blogging...
