Fire Alarm

Cedar Hall North's fire alarm is going off right now. Is it a test or did someone set it off? As of right now, I don't know.

Russell, my 3d design teacher, liked to bug, but he didn't like the base. I don't blame him. A fired brain doesn't help to think. Now I need to stuff a box full of stuff. That'll be fun. This class is different. Although the name implies computer design, it doesn't. It's a hands-on class. You may have figured that out from my pictures.

I also lost my pen in my bed, but then I found it. Yet, I lost it again after drawing class today. >< We're working on value, aka shading. I seem to do pretty well. I like shading with a pencil cause it's a little easier to erase if you need to. I also need to draw a still-life for me homework. I'll work on it tomorrow; especially if Annalee comes down for the weekend. We're still figuring it out.

Yesterday (Tuesday) was my "day off" from work. I just emailed my boss and asked him to wait to email me with an assignment. He's so cool. He emailed me back and said that if I ever need some time off to rest my brain, I just need to let him know. My first poster (the Thomas Stacy one, is up on campus now. ^^ I'm tempted to take a picture next to it.)

Institute was interesting. We had a substitute and I didn't quite enjoy it...although I am liking the reading. Today I spent my morning time before class just reading the book. It's a great read and I hope to apply it to help prepare myself to get married someday.

The fire alarm stopped.

I did post my Intro to Photography pictures on Facebook the other day. You should check them out. They're pretty cool.

I'm proud of my roommates. ^^ They're filling out their mission papers. That's what I like to see. GO MISSIONARIES!
