Dear Mind,
I'll be time traveling a little bit here (seeing as I didn't post yesterday).
So, yesterday... Institute was good. ^^ I met Jessica. She was born in Japan, but she's American. (She had to choose to be an American or Japanese when she turned 18). She speaks Japanese (duh). I told her that I want to learn Japanese and she was happy. I know only a little bit, but with her help, I can learn more ^^.
Intro to Photography was cool. We learned about the history of photos. Did you know that you can put a photo on glass or even a copper plate? You have to expose the negative to the material and the image is placed. It's cool.
At 7 pm, was Art Insights and we all divided into our majors and then by school year. MY group was led by Jeff Hanson (a graphic designer). He said that we should think about when when we should take some of our classes (so that way we don't end up without enough credits to graduate and that we don't take a class too late and it ends up being boring...) he's cool. He told us about a internship within the college. I asked him about him it and showed him my "Beware the Robot Invasion" and he said that I should apply for the internship. ^^
Then it was the "Hunger Games." I've never seen this movie, and I didn't get all of it. SUU projected it onto a large, blow-up screen and lots of people were talking. I'll have to watch it again later on. I was a good movie. I tried to guess the movie, but I failed. That and Makenzie didn't like it...
I also started to make my 3d Art Project. I'll be posting photos as I make it so you guys can guess what it is.
So, now we've entered into the present. Welcome back. How was your trip? Did anyone throw up? If you're not here and you were before, oops.
Art History started at 11 am and I could've fallen asleep... I'm still trying to figure out where the book comes into play... Well, it's required to graduate, so I'll stay awake.
Afterwards, lunch and Drawing class. We drew our hand a few times. (Did that get your attention?) We had to draw our hand, without seeing our drawing hand. It was interesting. We also had to draw our hand without lifting the pencil. I actually drew a pretty good hand. We also drew a Picasso piece, upside down. I did well this time. I had already done in my Black & White class at the CC. Our teacher told us to think more of shapes instead of things that we recognize like hands and such. Then I had the afternoon off. So, I worked on my resume for the graphic design internship. I sent it off to Jeff to get a review and then I'll send it off.
Tonight I saw William Hoffman. He's a mentalist/magician. He's also pretty good. He read a few minds. I wanted him to try and read mine, but he never choose me. You should check out his stuff and his site. Well, that's about all I have to say.
Night.
