Dear Mind,
I gambled for the first time (for prizes
like a vacuum) and I didn't like it. I also didn't play like these guys. It didn't feel right. Before we
left, a bunch of us got to together and played "dress-up," as one
roommate said. It was interesting to see a 5 guys figuring out what
clothes look better together to dress up for a casino night. You don't
see that everyday. Oh, don't forget to see the photos of the posse as
the "Rollin' Dukes."
Today, what happened today... Well, I
had Art History. It was...alright. Our teacher talked about prehistoric
art and how the science people have a hard time giving names to some
art because of seeing people-like figures in art or not seeing them in
art. It tends to throw off the timeline.
Drawing class made me remember that I can't draw people. A single hand, I can do alright. What was
cool is that we had to do a mirror-image of our signature. On paper. By
hand. That'll make a cool design later on. (No, you can't steal my
idea, thank you.) Monday is a holiday. Know what that means? Free time.
Yep.
Oh, for my 3d class, I need to make my first project with
whatever I want. I still haven't fully decided what I'll do and should
start because I only have about 2 in-class periods to work on it. The
rest is outside of class. It has to have volume, 3d to it (duh!) and be
unique. Coping doesn't work, so no comments about ideas please. (I just
realized that I'm not posting this post as late as the other ones...)
I met Robert today. He's in my 3d class and he served his mission
in Nevada, about 4 years ago. He's a cool guy and is studying
photography. Today we made a Popsicle stick structure. Yes mom, my
tuition is being used to buy Popsicle sticks.
Well, I think that's about it. These days are taking forever to go by. It's only Wednesday and I feel like it should be at least Friday. The mission went by quickly and life goes by slowly. I guess it's because you have more time for life than for a mission, sadly.
さようなら。
