Querido Mente,
I just looked through my old blogs and that brought back some memories. I also enjoyed my English. ^^ (In the sense of my writing and not the language itself...I prefer Português and 日本人.)
Well, that translation just changed my font. How do you guys like it? It's not a easy on the eyes, but it may work out. I have yet to look at ilovetypography.com, although it's only been one day...
Returning to now...Jessica and I went "pressed" flowers today. I put the quotation marks there because it was more of just picking flowers and putting them between wax-paper and hoping that they'd flatten out. We also had some Gushers and Fruit-by-the-foot. So, she says she's 日本人 and it's true. She was born there and wants to move back there. I'm still hoping to just go and visit.
I drew shoes for about 2 hours today. My homework is to draw 6 shoes together. I'll do it tomorrow because I've used up my shoe-drawing credits. "Please put in more coins to continue." No more game for me. I also need to finish my 3d design project. I'll do that Monday in class. It's not due until Wednesday. I also got to use a cool camera today to practice shooting for my Intro to Photography class. I have 2 assignments due the same day in that class and I have two weeks to do so. (I wanted to type out two, but since I already used the number itself, I need to follow the format. That's English for you.)
I have good news. Michael French, who is in charge of the SUU Graphic Internship, emailed me today and we set up an appointment for Monday at 9:30 am for my interview. ^^ Here's what he said when I asked if the interview could be tomorrow:
"I have household chores to do on Saturday. Sorry...but not as sorry as I am."
I take that as a good sign. Well, we switched fonts again. Normally I don't do that. It's not a great typographical technique, but it's a little out of my hands.
A strange thing happened last night. Nick, my roommate, texted Dad and said that someone in the lobby wants to talk to be. It was a weird text and a little scary. I went there and it was from someone that was shy. Oh well.
Our Cedar Hall is known as the "Swag." I found our shirt at Walmart tonight. Mom, worry not, I didn't buy it. See the "Vision" page to see the picture.
Well, that's about it. Other then I played Monopoly Deal with a few friends tonight and they liked it. The same person (Michaela) won both times.
Bye.
