I'm still alive.
As of now, I still haven't received the internship. I'm still waiting on his response.
Life is becoming mundane...I did research a rough estimate on how much it would be to go to Japan (round trip) in May 2013. $1283. Direct too. Now where can I get that money....
It doesn't seem that much, but for a poor, college student, it is. My plan is stay with Ryo while I'm there, for maybe a few weeks...He's in France right now, so I haven't received a response.
In Institute, we talked about dating. Brother Pace had a funny slide up; "How to find someone who will date you." Basically, you need to develop yourself (qualities and Christ-like attributes, etc) and you'll naturally be attracted to the same type of people.
With Jessica, I've just been asking about Japan. She doesn't seem to mind. She actually misses Japan. She's cool.
My mission son wrote me! Elder Staheli. It was so good to get his letter. He's doing well and he's baptizing. He makes me proud. I feel like I did well on my mission. Speaking of which, transfers are next week, but not for me. I think my last companion, Elder Ayancan, will probably stay (again) in Pajuçara because his companion is finishing his mission. Vital says that he misses me. I miss him too.
I'm starting to like Drawing better. Today we drew fruit by using inner contour lines. (See picture under the "Art" page.) I'll have to put some pictures up.
Well, my 3d project turned out completely different than what I had originally planned. I ended up using pipe-cleaners to make a shape. -sigh- Luckily the teacher won't grade too hard this round because it was the first project. As for the second one...He said to take it slow. I need to edit the project when something goes wrong instead of just changing ideas. The "WIP" page will be where I'll post the current project photos.
Wednesday night, I spent about 2 hours drawing my homework and I had to take a break. So, I helped Alex with Calculus. I also took out the trash. I have yet to see a recycling bin here. -sad face-
I have some sad news. I didn't get the internship. He asked if I'd be interested in January. I am. So, I'm looking into another one. I don't want to work at fast food. So if any of you readers know of a company that can hire a graphic design major, or even a single person that needs art, please let me know.
I went on the stake, date hike tonight with Makenzie. It was fun. Jacom and Mckenzie were are hiking partners. I'll post some pictures on the "Vision" page. yeah. That's basically my life.
