Brand New Day

Dear Mind,

My day wasn't like this. "Brand New Day."

Today was actually good and quick and boring.

Classes were more of "Here is my syllabus. Here's what it says. Show up to class and do the work. Class dismissed." So, I had some free time to not do the homework that wasn't assigned.

Today I met Mckenzie. She's 20 and switched to the graphic design major last semester and she talks a lot. (Don't worry, she said it herself.) She's pretty cool. We decided that I'd have a stop and go sign for her. She doesn't eat cause she talks...

I have some sad news. I applied to be a tutor, it's just that it was a work-study job. That means that you need be in the same major to work in these positions. I'm a graphic design major and not an English major. So, I was turned down. The lady felt bad, but couldn't give me the job. I still have an application to turn into the SUU Bookstore and I'm thinking of applying at the Dollar Store. Do you think I can get discounts there?

I laugh internally when people say that it's hot. It was 80 today and that's nothing to what I've been through. Although, Utah is a dry heat and Brasil is a wet heat. So either way, my nose'll burn.

FHE was cool tonight. It was mainly dinner. Some of the wards (it was a stake fhe) did some activites, but ours didn't. I got in a little trouble. So yesterday I went to a morning ward (mine's at 1 pm.) I was talking to my bishop and said that I'll see which ward I'll go to. He said that I can choose, but that it would be better if I stayed in my proper ward. That's probably what I'll do anyway...

Mom, what was so funny from the other posts?

I guess I should post the 2 pictures that I took at the world dance on Saturday. There's going to be another one on Friday I think. We'll see how that one goes...

So I found out today that the RA (that's what Nick DeGraw is) gets free housing and a free meal plan. ^^ Applications are online in November. I think I'll apply.

So, I'm waiting for the laundry to finish and then we have to put it in the dryer. What doesn't make too much sense, is that the washer costs $1.00 and the dryer is $0.25. And the machines only accept coins. Where's the Chuckie Cheese coin changer when you need it?

Well, that's about the end to my ramblings. For now.

Bye.
