When it comes to imagination, we usually associate it with kids and boxes. Or at least, that's what I did when I was younger. My brother and I did all sorts of stuff when we were younger; legos, boxes, stuffed animals. Whereas when the kids get older, all such activities cease. Not entirely, but almost.
The older we get, the less we do; unless you're an artist. Artists get free range on imagination. Everyone else, not quite. What's wrong with this concept? Any one should be able to show their imagination.
Yet, for those who show their imagination, sometimes it gets stuck on the way out. This phenomena is known as "the block." Or in other words, not wanting to think and continue the work-or so I've been told.
On another note, what qualifies you as a genius? Is it the product of one person or just because your friend says you're one? I once saw a video on an author who portrayed the idea that genius isn't something you are, but something you have. An external being or creature that whispers ideas in your ear. It could even be a train that rushes through you at irregular moments. (Distracting voices are keeping me from writing...)
Imagination, when does it come and when does it end? Or does it never end? On the other hand, does it even start for some people? How does one "unlock" such a thing? Is that even possible? Who has the answers? Chris, what about you, what do you think?
On yet another note, the buttons seem to be going alright. I have someone interested in obtaining some. Joyous.
Until next time,
Mr. Turner
